As
for the previous page (Presentation and Personalities - Page 3) this page includes
pictures of some of the people who helped to make this event happen. I was not able
to get a pic of all of them, so please excuse any omissions.
Many people would not realise
the huge team effort that is needed to run an event such as Spray Farm. Not only is
there a lot of work, but without the generosity of the sponsors and other
supporters, it would be impossible to finance horse events, particularly three day events
such as Spray Farm.
It is important for lovers of the sport to think of this whenever
they purchase cars, saddlery, clothes, airline tickets and other merchandise - for that is
the time when we can repay the sponsors for their generosity and support - we must support
them. Patrick Collins and his team from Audi Australia, made sure that the offering
of vehicles on display was inviting, he also reminded people who may be thinking of
a new car, to come and test drive an Audi. |
|
Amanda Ross - always a crowd
favourite with her Olympic horse, Otto Schumaker. They finished in 2nd. place. |
|
Bubbly Megan Jones had a great
competition with her two Irish bred geldings. |
|
David Browne gets away from the
cold wind ... He is probably
used to it, as he and his wife Vivian own the beautiful Spray Farm. |
|
Penny was one of the many hard
working hostesses who made the day memorable - thanks girls. |
|
Rebecca Fenner was here
representeing the Horse Magazine. Rebecca
is a wonderful dressage rider and a thoroughly nice 'chick'. |
|
Sweet Georgia Browne - no - not
a song title, this is Georgia
Browne daughter of Matthew Browne, who is the son of David and Vivian, owners of Spray
farm, and the most perfect hosts of this great competition. |
|
CIC *** Course Designer Michael
Creber. |
|
Sarah Nevile- Lavingdale who is
a keen event rider, but without a horse at this level - she was fantastic in her
commentary of the showjumping - her skill makes such a difference ! |
|
Deb McNicol was very much the
'hands on' member of the Ground Jury. |
