Tintagel Magic and Emmanuelle De
Denaro - this horse has been a favourite of mine for many years. I saw him when he
was three days old and would have loved to have bought him. It was not to be. He is by the imported stallion Wunder and from the
Kilof McOhl mare Astrid McOhl. Astrid foundered soon after the colt was born and he
was orphaned. He was bred by Niels & Kim Svensen (Niels is a vet)
The horse spent some time training with Mary
Hanna, and then with Andrew McLean.
His owner Victoria Kendall-Hawk has also
campaigned him when she lived in Victoria. |

Victoria and her family have now
moved to NSW and the horse is with Emmanuelle - who did a great job. They worked much better in the outdoor environment and
scored a pleasing 61.05% for 5th place.
Well done Emmanuelle. |

Idle Delight an Australian
Thoroughbred by Dangers Hours from Stans Delight. He was ridden by his owner Sally Blunsden from NSW. There were
some nice moments in the test but overall it lacked collection and self carriage.
At this level the judges are quite hard with
work missing these vital ingredients. Today they scored 49.65 and finished well down
the list. |

Idle Delight and Sally Blunsden
will be sure to have gained much experience from their participation at the National
Dressage Championships. They are sure to work on improving the quality of
collection. |

Montezuma and Tabitha Fisher
worked very well - as we have come to expect from this talented young rider, and her
super talented horse. Monty is
an Arabian Warmblood by the Monopol stallion Montora from the mare Karella Trevi. |

Tabitha and Monty made no big
mistakes and ...I thought the test may well have earned a few more marks - but I am
sure that all of Tabitha's connections, friends and family would have been delighted with
2nd. place on 63.75% |

Maurice Bruce was the winner of
the Equimec Intermediate 1 class - he rode
his lovely mare Neversfelde Kudu. Here
he is pictured with the International judge Dr. Deiter Schüle from Germany. |
