Marco Biasia from Italy on Ecu - another of the water jump casualties.
As the picture on the left shows - the approach is now very degraded and many horses lost
their footing and their confidence making a secure ride over this technical complex almost
impossible. This combination were eliminated in Phase D.
It was a huge and very enthusiastic crowd who gathered at the Number 12
complex. They appeared to be happy to only see the action at this one part of the
magnificent Garrapilos venue.
Andreas Dibowski on Leonas Dancer for
Germany ... 'pinged' over The Roller Coaster 4ab
Jump 2 The Fruit and Vegetables looked
magnificent and more like a luncheon invitation than a cross country fence.
Jean Teulere looks great on the left at Jump 4 - The Fruit and Vegetables and
very keen as they make their approach to jump 5 The Trakehner. They came into
the Cross Country in fourth position after the Dressage Phase and moved up to third.
The Frenchman did very well with team Silver.
Blyth Tait from NZ on his wonderful horse Ready
Teddy take the Fruit and Vegetable jump in
wonderful style - unfortunately they were Eliminated in Phase 4.
