This handy little
gadget caught my eye and after many attempts I managed to capture
the image on the camera. This is a Swedish Fire Steel - a
flash of genius. Developed for the Swedish Defense Force - it is a
small pocket sized flint & steel which creates a 3000°C spark
which will light any fire in any conditions! |

Peter Meatchem from
Pioneer Jewellery in Queensland, had a wonderful display of
equestrian inspired pieces. He carries a beautiful range of
gold & diamond jewellery - depicting horse heads, snaffle
bits, horse shoes and my personal favourite - the stirrup
collection. He has the most beautifully ornate Baroque Stirrup
pendant available. |

I wasn't able to get a
picture of the talented artist, however I did capture the
supporting partner! Talented young sculptor Tanya Bartlett
displayed a range of works. Her pieces are realistic and her
attention to detail is amazing. Tanya has a range of original
& limited edition pieces for sale & also produces work to
commission. I was particularly interested to learn that Tanya has
been commissioned to produce the life size Light Horse Bronze for
the Tamworth Waler Memorial. |

Lyn Beaumont made the
trip from Victoria to display her talents. She paints both
animal portraits and landscapes, preferring to work in oil.

sale and is also available for commissioned work. |

My definite favourite
from the whole exhibition was this enormous rocking horse produced
by Equine Style. They also carry a large range of wooden
horse sculptures. Each piece is individually hand carved and comes
numbered with it's own certificate. Art work may also be
commissioned. |
