Neitah Norman and
Monlander chose a lovely selection of Celtic music. The trot work was accompanied by an Irish jig and this seemed a
little hurried at times. |
![inter1fmonlander2jpg.jpg (14490 bytes)](inter1fmonlander2jpg.jpg) |
Monlander is very
strong in the changes which were beautifully punctuated with 'Irish trills', and these
were a highlight. I loved this
musical arrangement but a few errors brought the score down to 58.06% for 7th place. |

Richmeed Medallion
- the very well bred stallion who is by May Sherif (sire of Matador and Andiamo) worked
very well for Lisa Robinson. Her
musical choice was a 'jazzy' beat theme with electric piano. A similarly
orchestrated version of a popular theme, complimented the walk, and a Jazz/Blues
number went well with the canter. |
![inter1fmedallion3.jpg (13651 bytes)](inter1fmedallion3.jpg) |
The judges seemed
to like Lisa's music and interpretation, as she and Medallion scored 62.39% and earned a
third place. |

Superstar and Ruth
Schneeberger from South Australia chose delightfully suitable canter music - a rich
orchestrated version of Simon & Garfunkel's Mrs. Robinson - it was lovely and gave the
performance depth. The trot
music was also very attractive with an excellent clear beat. |
![inter1fsuperstar2.jpg (12385 bytes)](inter1fsuperstar2.jpg) |
Ruth had technical
problems with the flying changes and sometimes the horse was not through into the bridle, The artistic work was very nice but the technical
faults would have been costly.
They scored 56.94% for 8th place. |

Belinda Flynn and
Barrington Ock Tedi - another combination with a preference for Irish music. I very much like Belinda's choice of canter music as
it is one that I have used, and it suits the canter very well. |

Barrington Odk Tedi
- really shone in the canter work and the changes were particularly nice. It was a most enjoyable performance for a score of
58.61% and 5th placing. |
