arena continues ... |

Lesley-Anne Taylor
and Skansen Moet from South Australia. Lesley-Anne is a very experienced competitor
and her precision and ringcraft were apparent in this well ridden test. Moet is an imported Hanoverian stallion by Maurice
from the mare Wandra. |
![2fskansenmoet2.jpg (17037 bytes)](2fskansenmoet2.jpg) |
Lesley-Anne was one
of 4 combinations who share 6th placing with a score of 64.11%. This horse has improved since I first saw him at the
2000 Australian Young Horse Championships - and further dressage training is sure to
develop his potential even more. |

Snoopy and Graham
Chapple. This horse is by the very talented Trakehner stallion Speigel - who now
stands in Victoria. Snoopy has
the same lovely trot as his dad! The horse is owned by Dianne Shelley. It was
indicative of the quality of the competition that with a score of 61.89% they were 18th
placed. |

Simply the Best ll
and Anne Smith from Victoria. This
beautifully marked Hanoverian bred gelding was imported by Anne some years ago. He
is by Sao Paolo from the Mare Silvia.
He did a lovely novice test for 63.89% and
11th position.
It says much about the standard that almost
64% only gives this placing.
Good competition raises the standard for all. |

Rosebank Ruckman
and Sylvia McLachlan from South Australia and her lovely grey thoroughbred by Campaspe
from Seagull. This is a
fantastic type with elastic and expressive movement.
Sylvia is a very respected horsewoman who
always has lovely horses. |
![2frosebankruckman2.jpg (16028 bytes)](2frosebankruckman2.jpg) |
Rosebank Ruckman
and Sylvia McLachlan made the trip from South Australia. They scored 59.22% which would often result in a
placing - at this level it meant an =23ed - with herself on her other nice grey, Belcam
Arrival.
Both of Sylvia's horses would benefit greatly
from their experience away and she will be a better competitor for this experience. |

Victorian Judy
Smith and Susan Herbert take a last look at Ramazzotti before he goes over to ring 1B to
take part in the Novice 2F Ramazzotti
is an outstanding type ... imported Hanoverian Gelding by Ravallo from Luna.
Judy scored a very pleasing 63.11% which
would often give them the blue bow - but at this high standard competition they came in at
13th. |
