GALA WEEKEND

Sydney International Equestrian Centre
Report by Berni Saunders - Page 4
Sunday 15th June 2003 - Classes 8, 9
& 11
These classes were sponsored by Victoria Ferguson - Equine (and
animal) Herbalist. Victoria is known to Dressage enthusiasts for her wonderful
achievements with Gamekeeper. This striking gelding was 'short listed' for Olympic
selection and Victoria won most of the prestigious Australian competitions. She has
remained a keen supporter of quality horses and as such agreed to take part in this Gala
Weekend. She has become the sponsor of Vicky Robertson who is also making her mark
at the high levels of dressage. Victoria said - I will be very pleased to think that
my contribution will make Vicky's road to success just that little bit easier.
Victoria Ferguson spent the weekend explaining the many benefits of the use of herbs as a
preventative, cure and general health aid for performance horses. Her book was very
popular.
A driving force behind this weekend -
Claire Lynch the AWHA
NSW Branch Secretary.

striking 3 yo mare is by Argentille Biathlon and from a Kilof McOhl mare.

immature. She is by Fidji from the mare Glenbonnet Arctic Fox by Aachimedes.
