AWHA Vic Branch Committee did a great job to run such a comprehensive program
AND 5 rings of dressage. Fortunately they have some very knowledgeable people on
board and it was a great day - particularly for giving a young horse an outing, or going
up a grade and taking the opportunity for a quiet day with a nice atmosphere.
There were some very good test ridden - I though that Renee Pedretti riding
Northern Regency was a stand out. She looked completely in control and it certainly
deserved to win the medium class - which she did.
Above - Renee
Pedretti and Northern Regency. 'Reg' as he is known to his friends ... is usually
ridden by his diminutive rider Maureen Barrell who always enjoys her time with the horse.
Torlea Electronic by Wunder (dec'd) from Electra was ridden by Amber Evans.
Amber and her husband Ollie share the horse. Ollie jumps him and Amber trains
him in his Dressage. Amber confessed that she was looking to see him become more
concentrated on his dressage. Electronic has a very tractable nature and did a very nice
Novice test in this ring.
Avoca Fireworks
and Lauren Bailey-Smith
Batten Dutch Image and Bryony Guisti
make their way to the
Elementary competition.
Belcam Carrington is always a favouriteof mine - he is a very upstanding
horse ... in my opinion this is an ideal type of conformation and posture for dressage!
He is owned and ridden by Kerry Sisely
