1999 National Australian Dressage Championships

Thursday 21 October – Sunday 24 October

The Competition

The Championships will attract the cream of dressage riders from throughout Australia. The Championships will be run over four days, from Thursday 21 October (Fitness Inspection for Grand Prix and WDC horses and the Intermediate II) through to Sunday 24 October. The programme will include Novice through to Grand Prix level classes; Young Rider classes and two separate classes for four and five year old horses. Freestyle to Music events will take place in the superb indoor arena on Saturday evening.

Entry forms will be available early August from State EFA Branches, or contact the NSW Dressage Council. The August issue of Centreline Magazine will include the schedule.

Entries close Tuesday 14 September, 1999.

 Judges

Mr. Eric Lette, Chairman of the FEI Dressage Committee has agreed to head the Ground Jury.

An FEI International Judges Clinic with Mr. Lette will be held after the event.

FEI World Dressage Challenge

The Australian Final of the WDC will coincide with the Nationals. The Final for the WDC will take place on Sunday 24 October. Twelve of Australia’s Prix St George level horse and riders combinations will be selected to take part in this event.

The FEI has appointed Mrs. Domini Morgan (O Level Judge from Great Britain) and Mrs. Gisela Holstein (International Judge from Ireland) to officiate at the WDC final.

World Cup Qualifier – CDI-W
The Grand Prix tour at these Championships will be run as a CDI-W.
