The Medium 4E was conducted along side the Prix St. Georges competition on the main Olympic arena. Many of the horses were just lovely with good movement and potential to go on. I am sure that some of these top placed horses will be wining in the FEI classes in a couple of years. |

First horse to go
in this ring was Gracefield Gustav - a gelding by Moselfischer from the mare Sylvia.
Gustav is a lovely type and Kate did a very nice job with much of the test. They scored 57.56% for 19th place. |

Wisdom and Ann
Serrao did a very nice test - the handsome black gelding is by the imported Hanoverian
Winterkoenig. They scored 60.00% for 9th place. |

Young Victorian rider Lisa Seamer and her very attractive Anglo Arab - Sienna Tailor Made. There was some resistance in the canter work which would have affected the marks. They scored 57.89% for 17th place. | ||||||||||||

Sir Leopold -
Another of the Ludendorf horses who were competing at these Championships. When you
consider that all horses had to qualify, the stallions who had multiple representatives
are highly commended as sires of dressage horses. Sir Leopold has very expressive paces and this combination scored 56.33% for 23rd place. |

APH Magma - a
lovely mare by Rocadero and owned by the rider Jenny Gehrke and Libby Sauer (owner of the
stallion). This is a very nice horse but she became a little heavy on the forehand at times. They scored 58% for =15th place. |

APH True Seville by
the Thoroughbred stallion Meriville from the purebred Trakehner mare Samland (dam of
Socrates and Solo ll) Paula Price from Queensland did a tremendous job with this talented horse and placed in every competition that they contested. In this 4E, an early mistake in the extended trot could have spoilt the test, but Paula kept her cool and no more errors for a score of 64.78% for 3rd. place. Well done Paula.

IC Lladro an Anglo
Arab by Arabesque Eclipse. He is owned and ridden by Valda Darin from NSW. The test lacked energy but was accurately ridden - so more impulsion would equal more marks - Good luck Valda. They scored 55.78% for 24th. |

Don Ami an
outstanding stallion by Don Ramiro and from Lucilla. Rider/owner Anna Groom did a great job to get this talented yet 'spooky' young stallion into the ring - he did not want to go. The test was marred by this early resistance and did not really recover - they scored 55.33% and were well down the placings. |
