Seiber and M Kelly show some
lovely steps of half pass - they took part in the Intermediate ll and Grand Prix. Seiber is by the super Trakehner stallion Kassiber - who has made his
mark by leaving a number of flashy moving Dressage horses who are having great success all
over Australia. |
|
Seiber and M Kelly. M
and husband Colin have been tireless workers for the sport of Dressage ... for many
years ... and it is great to see M enjoying her a practical involvement. |
|
Waiting for the bell - Viv Axton on
her Daly K mare - Splash ll. They are now a
very competitive combination at Prix St. George level, and Viv has done all the work
herself.
Well done Viv, this is a great achievement. |
|
Tannenbaum - a gorgeous youngster
led down past those 'nasty polo horses' by Mary-Jane Pierce. "He has not been
out very much", said Mary-Jane and he is rather frightened by the galloping and
noise. Sadly ... Mary-Jane and her family
(John, Margaret and Madeline Bayles) recently lost their outstanding stallion Torlea Van
Dieman. We were all sorry to hear of this tragic loss. |
|
Popular Victorian competitor Luciano
(Lou) D'Elia bought out his new horse - Wangarra Cardiff for the first time. |
|
Cardiff looked like a dream to me
... and Lou should be thrilled to own such an elegant and supple horse. I am sure we will see more of this combination in the near future. |
|
Equal winner of the Intermediate ll
class was former WA rider Tracy Lee on her imposing gelding Middleton Apollo. He was bred by Diana Makaroff in NSW when her stud was called Middleton Stud.
He is by Aachen and from a Kaliber mare. |
