Robinson Winform Another big spring feature is coming up on Thursday night with the Moonee Valley
Gold Cup. With the weather the way it is, thank goodness for the all weather surface. So
what can win it?
Yippio is 7 yo but is racing in the best form of his
career. Last start he came from well back at the turn to finish less than three lengths
from the winner Majestic Avenue. He hasn't raced at the Valley, but he races well
everywhere else. This new experience won't stop him.
Yammer is no certainty to run the distance and The Hind is
simply inconsistent. Ancient City will handle the track but may just be short of running
out the distance. Brew is inconsistent but races well here.
In summary, stand out Yippio from the above runners and you
should go close to nailing the trifecta.
P.S. With the form from last Saturday's Caulfield Cup you
can be sure that Diatribe, Kaapstaad Way and Freemason will al be great chances in the
Melbourne Cup. |
