Champion
jockeys Brett Prebble and Damien Oliver return to racing at Caulfield on Saturday as the
first scent of spring hits Melbourne racetracks. Oliver
(Regal Shot) and Prebble (Honour The Name) have both taken mounts in the $100,600 Sir John
Monash Stakes which will be the highlight of the day's racing.
The pair are likely to have a larger than normal audience
for their return to racing as the VATC has announced that both students and teachers from
ALL Victorian Universities will be admitted FREE to the meeting on production of their
University ID.
The VATC will also provide a host of free children's
activities as the day is a designated Clip Clop Club day for their junior racegoers.
Parents and guardians accompanying Clip Clop Club members will also be admitted free.
For further information, contact Chris West at the VATC on
(03) 9257 7200.
