These are just some of the
people who made the competition happen or were there to enjoy it.
Caroline Leiutenant the Assistant
National Coach for RDA Australia. Caroline has trained
and ridden many horses to the highest level of Dressage.
She has been on the 'short lists' for Australian
representation in International events.
Carolyn King - owner of the super moving horse
Palmerston Barnum ... who was ridden for New Zealand
by Sandy Dillon.
Margaret Howard - herself a very accomplished Dressage rider
is one of the many fantastic volunteers who help at RDA -
without them the organisation would not exist.
Daryl Herbert took time out from his hectic schedule as
Event Director for Equitana Asia Pacific - to be held
in Melbourne in November 2001. Daryl was at this competition
to gather ideas about staging the RDA World Championships
in Australia in two years time.
Good on you Daryl - We all hope it can be done!
Frances Corry - a fantastic supporter of RDA
always ready to help, today she was the assistant scorer.
Heather Buckland did a wonderful job
judging - as did all of the experienced EFA judges.
Jan Geary (NSW A Level) and Virginia Creed (Vic)
International Dressage Judge. Virginia is very involved
in promoting and fostering Junior Dressage in Australia, and recently
travelled to Cincinatti, Ohio, USA, as the Chef d'Equipe for
our Junior Dressage Team, who were invited to compete
In the FEI Junior Championships. Well done !!
The New Zealand Team gave the competition
a truly 'International' feel. Thankyou for your company.
