Trade Village - Part 2
The Saddleworld/Winergy Committee have looked closely at the requirements of the traders who participate at this competition.  The siting of the 2003 trade village has been arranged on the lawn between the old stable block and the indoor arena.  This position is also readily accessible from the sand arena and not too far from the car park and lawn area where the HRCAV and PCAV events were conducted.

It is quite a test of creative design to accommodate approximate 35 stands including food caravans, tables and chairs, the Winergy scoreboard, the presentation podium and other features which needed to be where the people were gathered.  The area had a very good atmosphere and never felt crowded.  I spoke to a number of people who were all delighted with this year's organisation.

It is now up to the Dressage community to support these businesses.  It is a huge effort to transport merchandise, set up credit card and eftpos transaction capabilities not to mention staffing their stand while keeping the regular business activies going.  They need to be rewarded for their efforts in order to keep this part of the competition function viable.  Without the traders the costs to competitors would probably more than double and this would make participation impossible for many.

Olympic Eventer Amanda Howell (Ross) has helped her mum Annie very significantly with the design of the comprehensive 10 Minute Box range of work boots and leg wraps.  I have used quite a few products in the range for my dressage horses and have found then easy and quick to put on and very easy to keep clean. Another great idea and something we all wish we had installed when we are forced to jump in and out of the car/truck opening and closing gates to ensure that our horses are secure.   Power supply and expenses has been a very prohibitive factor in traditional units - Solar Farm solves both problems call 1800 689 772  - toll free
